A few frends were over tonight to watch Six Feet Under and a couple of Arrested Development episodes. Steph had just gone to a knitting class, and brought a tiny little yellow knit hat that we all took turns wearing. Of course, we ended up putting it on Felix and taking a couple pictures.

We went out to Pace Bend last weekend which is a park that's lives in the crux of one of the twists and turns of the Colorado river, and it was pretty fantastic. It's more like a resevoir than most of the lakes or rivers I've swum in (all rocks, no beach where we were).
The best part was that you can rockclimb on the surrounding rocks -- and if you fall off, you're just going to land in the water so you don't need to use ropes or anything! Unfortunatley, the combination of prune hands and rough rocky surfaces being tightly gripped meant that my fingers ended up in pretty bad shape and took a couple days to recover.
Kent jumped off a massive cliff into the water. Okay, it was probably on 25 or so, but it sure LOOKED like a massive cliff. I jumped off a 8-10 foot rock twice and managed to get water up my nose both times. Hrmph.
Kent took a movie on his digital camera of a girl diving off the big cliff, so I'll see if I can get it from him and post it here.
I think we're going back soon and will be doing some camping as well -- there are campfire rings around and you can basically just pitch a tent and set up camp wherever you'd like. Should be fun!
I've been using FireFox for a while as my primary browser, and while it's by no means perfect (mostly due to pages that use IE-only extensions to HTML), I've been really happy with it so far.
Today, while browsing around, somehow, freakily, it got pointed to www.georgewbush.com. Perhaps I passed out for a second and unconsciously typed in the url. Maybe some malicious spyware is redirecting my browsing. Who knows.
