Yeah, I've been a slacker with updates, but here's a new one!
The weekend before Thanksgiving we drove over to Houston to spend the weekend at Katy's Aunt Justine and Uncle Ron's house, along with Katy's parents and her grandmother. We got there just in time to watch the great Ohio State game on their new plasma TV.
We also had a gourmet meal courtesy of Ron.
The next day, we went over to the Westside Tennis Club to see the finals of the Master's Cup.
It had rained most of the day and rained off and on while we were there, but they were pretty good (if low-tech) at getting the court dry.
There were some crazy guys with no shirts that pained "Roger" (Federer) on their chests.
Finally, they were ready to play. Hewett is in the green, and Federer is in black and white.
During one of the rain breaks, I wandered over and watched the boom camera guy.
Federer ended up crushing Hewett. There was confetti and fireworks and a bunch of photographers at the net and a car that Federer won!
And finally, Bud Collins in some crazy pants.
