We left the house just before 9 a.m. this morning. After dropping off the cable boxes and cable modem, we let the cats out of their carriers. This greatly improved their moods. Felix came up into the front and sat on the passenger's lap most of the day, while Oscar buried himself in blankets in the backseat.
The weather was really good for driving. It was in the 70s in Texas and dropped to the 30s in Kansas, but it was clear the entire drive.
The Prius started off with 50+ mpg, but when it got windy and colder (and Chris was driving), it dropped into the low to mid 40 mpg range.
We arrived in Newton, KS around 6 p.m. Felix is now chilling on the bed, and Oscar is chilling behind the bed. No big surprise there.
